"Sometimes, not often, we get lucky enough to hear a band like this".
What makes this band so special?
For one thing, there’s the extreme soundscape experience that Gotcha!-funk offers: a heavily-pumpin’ sound, an orgasmic feeling of celebration. Listening to the liberated sound of drums and percussion, we pound to the twisted beat of a handful of sonic adventurers making highly intriguing music. Gotcha! music is a uniquely creative collaborating sound mixing sixties-trip-rock with funk, hip-hop and more. Gotcha! goes for the throat: challenges an audience, always overwhelms and gives you the musical experience of a lifetime. Take in the scene see the band take the stage, feel the power, thrill to the trip. The K.I.D. with luminous eyes. The beat! That bass! The breathy, intimate, even hysterical horn. The music is an experimental journey powered by a building heat. This band is so on! What makes their recordings and performance? It’s that bellyboostin’- footstompin’ - furiousfunkin’ Gotcha!sound, together with an electrified crowd that got what they deserved in a sensational, butt-kicking performance. |
